As my focus shifted away from flat media and towards 360° and Virtual Reality content, the updates to QubaHQ became more and more sparse. Today it is my pleasure to introduce to you my brand new website: QubaVR.com. It will be a home to all my newest projects, my VR-focussed portfolio and a host of articles, reviews and editorials on the subject of immersive media.

For the past two months, I had the opportunity to work with some very creative engineers, filmmakers and coders in some of the very first field tests of this new, exciting camera rig.

The effort culminated in a collaboration with EDM artist Avicii and YouTube director Kurt Hugo Schneider, and resulted in an awesome 360 video for Avicii's latest single "Waiting for Love"

The Incredible Adventures of Oli the Olivari Olive and Friends A.K.A. "Oli the Olive" is a series of 12 short animations created for the Olivari Olive Oil as a part of their "Year of the Little" campaign. The episodes were released once every month, throughout the entire 2013.

Lead by Johnny Chung Lee, Project Tango took a fairly unorthodox approach to the development of this new technology. Rather than complete secrecy, Google engineers collaborated with research labs and academia, developing both the software as well as the current incarnation of the project - the Tango Tablet.
This film is a tribute to all the amazing minds involved in making Tango a reality. It documents the amazing journey of computer vision and 3D sensing that led to today's ability to contain all these amazing technologies in a user-oriented mobile device.

Created to celebrate the launch of the Nexus Q, Kinetisphere is a monument to the confluence of modern design and digital music. Like the Nexus Q, Kinetisphere is designed to encourage social interaction and connect people. It's a multi-sensory, multi-user participatory experience.

With the end of 2013, Olivari's One Year of Little campaign came to a close. In December we published the final episodes of many of the series created for this project. Here are two final videos for Bowerbirds: November and December.

Nexus 7: Grandma is a video banner - a one minute visit to the wonderful world of grandparents, as seen through the eyes of a child. Following the tabletop aesthetic of Nexus 7 campaign, it abstracts the story into a series of carefully curated still life compositions. But I would not be myself if I stopped there...

I've been asked to create a short vignette showcasing the multiuser capacity of Android operating system that would live on the Nexus 7 web page. I decided to abstract the concept of multiple users sharing the device and build a video around the practical split-screen composition.
