You may remember a cool media device named Nexus Q created by Google in 2012 and subsequently removed from sale. At Autofuss we created quite a few pieces for the launch of the device that never ended seeing the light of day.
Here is a set of boards I created for one of the spots.
Truth be told, I suck at creating boards. Don’t like it, never had. To remedy that I created the whole animation from scratch – having the ever-changing colorful LED ring around the Q draw shapes as I swung the camera around the device. I then rendered a series of still frames from the animation… and promptly lost the animation itself.
All in all, it turned out pretty cool. Too bad we never to to shoot it.
